The Studio Candlestick Burgundy by NIKO JUNE is a handmade ceramic candle holder, crafted from stoneware and both formed and glazed in Denmark.
Part of the Studio Series, the candlestick grew out of an ongoing exploration of ceramic objects developed for everyday use at the NIKO JUNE studio in Copenhagen.
The collection began with the Studio Cup, originally created as a ceramic colour sample before becoming a favourite among the team and eventually entering production.
Each Studio Candlestick is individually handcrafted, resulting in subtle variations in shape, colour and glaze that make every piece unique.

Everyday Objects from the Studio
The Studio Series began with a simple experiment in ceramic colours and glazes at the NIKO JUNE studio in Copenhagen.
What started as colour samples soon became functional objects that the team wanted to use themselves. The popularity of the original Studio Cup led to an expanding collection of handmade stoneware objects, including the Studio Candlestick.
The series reflects NIKO JUNE's experimental approach to design, where spontaneous ideas and material exploration develop into objects for everyday living.
Each Studio Candlestick is individually formed from stoneware and glazed in Denmark. The handmade process creates subtle variations in form, texture and glaze, giving every piece its own character.
