A Single Brick Candle
FRAGMENTS WARM ARCHITECTURE NIGHTS HARD BURNED SOIL SOLITUDE LIGHTED UP STAND UP FOR YOU
A Single Brick Candle is obviously a candle holder if you light a candle in it. It's made by glazed earthenware from red, locally produced clay. The bended curve comes from the motion of the heat in the firing process and makes them all bend in a different way. We like to see them as small fragmented parts of architecture, having a small but important task to do.
Please note: This object is created by NIKO JUNE in the studio from earthenware. Every object is unique, and will differ from each other in shape and glaze. Some might even have holes in them. But we see that as the beauty of imperfection. Please take care of this object.
