Flower Tumbler
A further development of Bouquet Theory, the Flower Tumbler explores how existing tools and fragments can be used to create new forms.
The glass is cast into sections of an old mould. Where parts of the original mould are missing, the molten glass is left to expand and is shaped freely by the glassblower. The final form is therefore created through the relationship between what remains of the mould and what is absent.
Familiar industrial forms remain visible, while the missing sections allow each piece to develop its own shape.
Produced in Denmark in close collaboration with our glassblowers at Holmegaard Værk, each glass carries subtle variations that reflect both the fragmented mould and its handmade production.
